"Opinion Matters" surveyed 1,024 women regarding their appearance and 68% of women stated that a “bad hair day” caused a decrease in confidence and impeded their work performance.
With Sisterlocks/Microlocks there are no bad hair days!

How can we teach our kids to embrace their natural hair when they are being made to feel different or ‘less than?’

1. Confirm for your child on a regular basis that they are beautiful.

2. Don’t use negative terms when talking about hair.  Avoid terms like “thick”, “kinky”, “curly”, “nappy” etc.

3. Do not allow others to share negative statements about your child’s natural hair.  Address issues as they arise so your child knows that cynical comments are unacceptable.
